Steven S. Tanis, CPA

Steve is a certified public accountant specializing in small business and individual taxation.   He has spent the past several years in tax preparation and planning, serving diverse individual and small business clients.   He also has experience as a corporate financial analyst with responsibilities including budgeting, account reconciliation, month and year-end closing, and internal management reporting.   His initial accounting position was as a staff financial auditor at a regional CPA firm.   

Steve is thankful to have studied at Rutgers Graduate School of Management, graduating in 1999 with an MBA in Professional Accounting and more recently in 2011 with a Master of Accountancy in Taxation degree.   He previously received a BS in Mathematics from Montclair State University in 1997.  

Steve has been certified by the state of NJ as a CPA since 2001.  He is authorized to practice before the Internal Revenue Service as a representative for clients. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of CPAs.
